This Privacy Policy explains how Set Power Free United DAO LLC, known as the Green DAO ("BlockBot," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit blockbot.green and the BlockBot pages you reach from it at app.blockbot.green, such as the waitlist confirmation and unsubscribe pages (together, the "Site"), join the BlockBot waitlist, or use BlockBot products and services as they launch (together, the "Services").

Please read it. By using the Services you accept this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.

This Policy does not cover third-party websites or services we link to, such as PowerPay (app.powerpay.green) or Green governance pages. Their own privacy policies apply.

1. Who we are

BlockBot is a product of Set Power Free United DAO LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company known as the Green DAO. The Green DAO is governed by Green node operators under the Green Blockchain Node Network Charter. For this Policy, the Green DAO is the "controller" of your personal information (the organization that decides how and why it is used).

2. What this Policy covers today

Right now, blockbot.green is an informational site with an early-access waitlist. The BlockBot demo on the Site runs on made-up demo data: it does not read your bills, connect to your accounts or move any money. The sections below marked "When the app launches" describe how the BlockBot app will handle information once it is available, and will be updated before launch.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Waitlist: your first name, last name, email address, and whether you ticked the box to receive BlockBot news. Along with these we keep a record of your consent: the exact wording you agreed to, the web address of the page you signed up on (including any referral or campaign codes in it), when you signed up and confirmed, and how many times you submitted the form. When you confirm by email, we keep only a scrambled (hashed) copy of the confirmation code. If you unsubscribe, we record when. We store this on BlockBot's own servers and in HighLevel.
• Messages: if you email us or contact support, we keep your name, email and what you wrote so we can reply.

Information collected automatically

• Server and log data: IP address, browser type, device and operating system, pages visited, referring page, and date and time of your visit. Our website host, HighLevel, collects this on our behalf. When you sign up, confirm or unsubscribe, BlockBot's servers also see your IP address and use it briefly to limit repeated requests and abuse; BlockBot does not save it.
• Referral and campaign codes: if you arrive from a link that carries a referral or campaign code (shown in the web address as p, r or sid), the codes stay in the web address as you move between blockbot.green pages, and if you join the waitlist they are sent with your signup so we know which link brought you. If you clicked "Accept all" on the cookie banner, your browser also keeps them for that browser tab (no cookies). If you don't sign up, they are never sent to us.
• Cookies and similar storage: see Section 7.

When the app launches

• Account information: the details you use to create and secure an account, such as email and passkey or sign-in records.
• Bills and payment details you add: power bill data (amount, due date, usage), biller names, and payment information. BlockBot stores only a card's brand and last four digits; full card numbers are handled by our payment provider, never by BlockBot.
• Connected assistants: if you connect your own AI assistant, the permissions you grant it and a log of what it does through BlockBot.
• Wallets: crypto wallet public addresses you add (view-only). BlockBot never sees or stores private keys or recovery phrases.
• Green ecosystem data: if you link Green nodes, a PowerPay NFT or a Green Wallet, the public, on-chain information needed to show you node status, rewards received and NFT status.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• run the waitlist and email you about your place in line and early access (this is part of the service you asked for);
• send BlockBot news and updates only if you opted in, and stop when you unsubscribe;
• operate, secure and improve the Site and Services;
• understand which links and campaigns bring people to BlockBot;
• answer your questions and provide support;
• detect, prevent and report fraud, abuse or security problems;
• meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

When the app launches, we will also use information to provide the features you turn on: reading your bills, preparing payments for your approval, applying the limits you set, connecting assistants within your permissions, and showing Green ecosystem information.

Legal bases (for people in the UK, EU and EEA): we process information with your consent (news emails), to perform a contract with you (the waitlist and, later, your account), to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running and securing the Services, where those interests do not override your rights.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold it in the past 12 months. We share it only:

• With service providers who work for us: HighLevel (website hosting, waitlist and email), our server and cloud hosting providers, and, when the app launches, payment, bank-connection and identity providers such as Stripe and Plaid. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• With PowerPay and other Green ecosystem services when you ask BlockBot to act through them, for example to pay a power bill through PowerPay.
• Within the Green ecosystem: with affiliated Green brands and the Green DAO's governance bodies where needed to operate the Services, as permitted by law.
• For legal reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights, safety and security, or enforce our terms.
• In a business change: if the Green DAO's assets or the BlockBot product are transferred, personal information may transfer with them under this Policy.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you are in the UK, EU or EEA, we rely on the European Commission's and UK's adequacy decisions (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension where a provider is certified), standard contractual clauses, or your consent. Contact us for details of the safeguard used.

7. Cookies and similar storage

When you first visit, a banner asks you to choose "Accept all" or "Essential only".

• Essential cookies:
  • msgsndr_id, set by HighLevel, our website platform, to recognize a returning visitor. Kept for 1 year. It is set when the page loads, whatever you choose.
  • cookie-config, which remembers your banner choice. Kept for 14 days, after which the banner asks again.
• Site platform storage: HighLevel, our website platform, also keeps four entries in your browser's local storage to record visits and sessions (v2_history, v2_session_history, v2_contact_session and v3_first_session_event). They are written whatever you choose on the banner.
• Fonts: the cookie banner loads the Inter font from Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net), so your browser contacts Bunny, which receives your IP address.
• Visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without tracking you across other sites.
• Referral and campaign codes: carried in the web address as described in Section 3, and kept in your browser tab only if you clicked "Accept all". They are not cookies and are sent to us only if you sign up.
• No advertising pixels: the Site does not use Meta, Google or any other advertising or retargeting pixel.
• Changing your choice: clear this site's cookies in your browser, and the banner appears again on your next visit.
• Display preference: if you clicked "Accept all" and then switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers that choice for this site (bb_theme, kept in your browser's local storage until you clear this site's data). If you chose "Essential only", it is not remembered. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
• Demo: the BlockBot demo stores nothing about you.
• Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing where the law requires. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track.

8. Marketing emails

You will get waitlist emails because you asked to join the list. You will get BlockBot news only if you ticked the news box. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time at app.blockbot.green/unsubscribe or by emailing [email protected]. Unsubscribing from news on our unsubscribe page does not stop emails you need about your waitlist place or, later, your account. The unsubscribe link at the bottom of an email may stop all of our emails, including those.

9. How long we keep information

We keep waitlist information until you ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist program ends and we no longer need it. Unsubscribing stops BlockBot news but keeps your place on the waitlist; we keep a record that you unsubscribed so we never email you news again by mistake. To leave the waitlist entirely, email [email protected]. We keep log data for up to 24 months. We keep account information for as long as your account is open, and afterwards only as long as the law requires or to resolve disputes. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. BlockBot is designed so that agents never see card numbers and BlockBot never holds private keys or recovery phrases. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: know what information we hold about you; get a copy; correct it; delete it; object to or restrict processing; move it to another provider; opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising (we do none of these); and withdraw consent. Exercising a right will never cost you anything or result in different service.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We will verify your identity and respond within the time the law allows (one month in the UK and EU, 45 days in most U.S. states, extendable once with notice). If we refuse a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal. UK and EU residents may also complain to their data protection authority.

U.S. state residents (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia): the rights above apply to you under your state's privacy law. California residents may also ask about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing; we make none.

12. Children

The Services are not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will notify you by email or a notice on the Site before they take effect.
